This work looks at the layering of newspaper publications. The printed content from a variety of publications reveals a different final image. More text based papers are overpowered by the black of the text, while more pictured based papers reveal a more colourful image. This also comments on the readership of the papers.

Each image is created from one newspaper. Every page of the paper as well as the magazines that accompany the paper can be seen at the same time.

Creating these layered rectangles reveals partial sentences and images that break through offering fragments of text or images that can be read. At the same time the process generates lines that create new images within the picture.
